The 5th Annual BIOS Leadership & Coaching Symposium is coming — and we want you there!

Join us on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Camp Randall Stadium for a full day of learning, connection, and growth. This year’s theme is “Building Culture and Developing Your People” — focused on empowering coaches and leaders to create meaningful impact within their organizations and communities.

We are excited to announce our outstanding featured speakers for this year’s symposium:

  • Alec Ingold, fullback for the Los Angeles Chargers and former Badger, brings a unique perspective on leadership, culture, and what it means to be a captain at the highest level of professional football.
  • Mark Johnson, legendary head coach of the UW Women’s Hockey team, has led the Badgers to eight national championships — including the 2026 title — and is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished coaches in the history of collegiate athletics.
  • Dr. Turina Bakken, Provost, Emerita, former Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs at Madison College and avid sports fan, will serve as keynote speaker, bringing more than two decades of leadership in higher education, innovation, and faculty development. A nationally recognized educator and strategist, she is known for her authentic leadership style and commitment to inspiring transformation through meaningful human connection.
  • Omar Brown, Senior Vice President of Community and Impact for the Big Ten Conference, is known for advancing student-athlete engagement, leadership development, and community impact through innovative initiatives and transformative educational experiences. Brown brings deep expertise in culture, diversity, leadership, and civic engagement to audiences nationwide.

Each year, the BIOS Symposium brings together passionate coaches and leaders from across Wisconsin and beyond who are dedicated to growth, leadership, and the power of coaching. This year we’ll also have dedicated time to workshop with colleagues — so we encourage you to sign up with your fellow coaches and take advantage of our group rate for teams of three or more.

Register by June 9, 2026 to guarantee your spot at this milestone event.

Leadership matters. Coaching matters. We hope to see you there.
