The Badger Inquiry on Sport (BIOS) Research Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison presents the BIOS Certificate in Next-Level Leadership, an innovative certificate program designed for current and aspiring sports leaders. Taught collaboratively by UW Sports Leadership Professor Jordi Díaz Gibson and football legend Andrés Iniesta, this certificate combines rigorous academic research with elite, practical experience.

The BIOS Lab, led by UW Sports Leadership Professor Pete Miller, bridges high-level academic inquiry with real-world athletic excellence, and is recognized as among the most innovative university-based leadership labs in the US. Recognized as one of the greatest footballers of all time, Iniesta brings unparalleled experience to the program. His career includes a FIFA World Cup and two UEFA European Championships with Spain, four UEFA Champions League titles, and nine La Liga titles with FC Barcelona. As a BIOS Fellow and collaborator, Iniesta contributes his lived leadership experience at the highest levels of international sport.

Structure

The BIOS certificate in Next-Level Leadership is flexible, fully online, and grounded in the latest leadership research. The program can be completed anywhere, at any time, with live sessions available. The content will include six (6) recorded sessions with Professor Díaz Gibson and Andrés Iniesta and three (3) interactive sessions with Andrés Iniesta and the BIOS research team.
